Climate Management Center (CMC) of Lviv Polytechnic National University was created in accordance with Order No. 208-1-10 dated 07.06.2022 to fulfil the terms of the Project under the Erasmus+ program "Synergy of Educational, Scientific, Managerial and Industrial Components for Climate Management and Climate Change Prevention" / CLIMAN.

The purpose of the CMC activity is to provide scientific and advisory, educational and project services in the field of climate change prevention, adaptation and mitigation of the consequences of global climate change for individuals and legal entities.

The main tasks of the CMC:

1. scientific advisory and project services in the field of climate change prevention, adaptation and mitigation of the consequences of global climate change for individuals and legal entities;
2. scientific and methodological assistance to ecologists working in educational institutions, enterprises, institutions and organizations of all forms of ownership;
3. formation of professional and social and personal competences of students of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" on issues of climate management;
4. promotion of scientific research activities of employees and students of the University in the field of climate management;
5. increasing the awareness and awareness of wide circles of the public on the issues of climate change both on a global scale and at the regional and local levels.
